Kyle is running a fever but has no other symptoms besides the cold we've all had for a week or two. It's gone in the morning and high in the afternoon, but he's sleeping well enough so I figure we'll just wait and see. No sign of an ear infection (ie, he's not fussy when his fever's gone), 4 molars erupting (all 4 have pointy bits poking through but none of them have all of the tooth surface through yet), learning to walk, learning to talk, shifting from bottle to cup and formula to milk, learning to do without food/bottle comfort at night... Nah, nothing's going on in his life...

Eric is staying interested in reading and is making progress. If/when he shifts interests, we'll shift with him -- it's not like he has a deadline of reading before he's 4 or something. Super-elite preschools notwithstanding. *laugh* He's also pushing boundaries, moreso when he's tired or uncomfortable (we're cycling between constipated and normal right now). He's also wanting to do more things by himself (whether he knows how/is capable or not).  However, on the flip side, he's playing better with Kyle, is sharing and helping fairly often, and is generally in a good mood.  I expect he'll be potty training this spring/summer -- he's starting to be able to tell us when he's peeing, etc. Prediction comes next I guess.

Our jobs are still busy but we're praying for a possible change in Greg's schedule (4 10-hour days) which would give us all a bit of breathing room. Crocuses are blooming and other bulbs/hostas are starting to peek out of the ground so spring isn't far off. We're still alternating between freezing and 50 degrees, but the precipitation is much more likely to be rain than snow now. Snow is all patchy with lots of ground visible where the sun breaks through. Piles from plowing/blowing/shoveling are slowly reducing (except for the still-towering piles in shopping center parking lots).
