There's a house down the street with a basketball hoop out on the street (not in their driveway) and when Eric and I go on walks we often throw acorns in it (or try, anyway). Today, Eric referred to it as "playing basket-acorn". I thought that was an insightful word combination. He certainly never heard that anywhere.
Kyle likes clicking his tongue and gives us big grins and proto-laughs when we click back at him.
Eric knows the words to the following songs/poems:
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
ABCs (75%)
Rockabye Baby
Mulberry Bush (and we play a game where he decides what fruit is on the bush, instead of mulberries)
Patty Cake (nani version)
Humpty Dumpty
and a few others that I'm forgetting right now.
