Kyle has been ogling our food and nearly grabbed my bagel out of my hand yesterday. Therefore, I've started giving him tiny tastes of applesauce, and do you know how hard it is to find non-sour applesauce that isn't sweetened with HFCS? So far he's had it 3 times and the first time loved it, the second wasn't sure what to make of it, and the third wasn't in the mood. The time he wasn't sure about it was funny. He would open his mouth and grab the spoon, pulling it to his mouth (and sometimes even get it in), but then when he tasted it he wasn't entirely sure what to do about it. He ate about a teaspoon overall.

Today we're going to These Toys Sure R Expensive (thanks Dave Barry!!) to get another kid seat (since Eric's still using his) and an "entertainer" for Kyle since he loves being vertical, bouncing, and watching what's happening, but generally hates his bouncy seat. Like these:
