Today we went to the Boston Aquarium for Eric's 2nd birthday, getting there a little before it opened. We saw penguins, lots of fish, a large octopus, jellies, seals, and sea horses; played with starfish and sea urchins in the tide pool area; and watched various fish, rays, and divers in the Great Ocean Tank, a 3 storey tank in the center of the aquarium. I think Eric liked the penguins the best, since he chose to take home a stuffed penguin.

We're home now and Eric is "down" for a nap. The quotes are appropriate because he's currently wandering around his room calling alternately for mommy and daddy. Aaaand now he's locked his door, so Greg's opening it. He slept for about 20 mins on the way home and that may be all he gets today. We'll try one more time to get him to fall asleep, otherwise it's an early night for him. He got his toddler bed last night and the night went great, but naptime is harder to fall asleep for.
