Repairman came today and found the faulty time on the defrost controller. After the fridge goes into defrost mode, it sometimes doesn't come out. Part is on order, and we know how to make it tick forward to turn back on if necessary. Since we had a service contract, we didn't have to pay anything. Yay!

While we wait a week for the part, I'm leaving the meat at our friends' houses and keeping the critical stuff in the little fridge. But at least we could bring everything in out of the snow. Double-yay!
