Eric is starting to assign emotions to pictures (happy, sad, angry, etc), and to draw faces. Currently his faces consist of a line for a mouth and some number of dots for eyes and nose. He loves for us to draw faces too.

Yesterday at church the fire alarm went on. We all headed outside (with jackets) and stood around waiting (no sign of fire). Then a few firemen walked up from the next parking lot, and then a firetruck drove up, much to Eric's enjoyment. While the firemen headed inside to verify the false alarm, Eric and Greg walked around the firetruck, admiring it. When the firemen came back out, Eric high-fived one (and remembered it this morning at breakfast). Fun times (though the first service at church was significantly interrupted).
