Eric's 2yr dr appt went great (Mon the 12th). He was 33.75" tall (which he was slouching for so I think he's slightly taller), 27.8 lbs and head 19". Height as measured is 25-50th percentile (he was 5th % at 1 yr), weight and head are 50th percentile. Tracking well, growing well.
He got his last HIB booster and a regular flu shot, as well as a heel stick for iron and lead tests. We're deferring the swine flu vaccine until such time as either an outbreak happens or I'm convinced it's necessary to protect the most vulnerable of our family, Kyle Andrew (working name).
Eric looked concerned for both the stick and the shots but didn't cry for any of them. Neither did he cry when Dr. Mark examined him, which was quite a change from his 18mo appt where he cried almost as soon as Dr. Mark entered the room. Afterwards Eric got to pick out stickers and picked a multi-sticker square with a car theme. His only reaction to the shots was a bruise on the leg, possible tenderness (wanting to be held more, walk less), and maybe some additional tiredness.
